Assessments
We offer thorough psychological assessments for individuals aged 6 years and older, focusing on cognitive abilities, learning challenges, and ADHD. Our goal is to provide clear insights and personalised recommendations to support each individual's unique needs.
No referral is required to access our assessment services, making it easier for families to seek the support they need without unnecessary delays.
Each assessment package includes:
A comprehensive clinical interview
Standardised assessment sessions
A detailed feedback session
A comprehensive written report with tailored recommendations
Assessment Fee: $920 (excluding the optional school observation).
NDIS Services
Wildflower Psychology provides therapy and psychological assessments for NDIS participants who are self-managed. Services are billed in line with the current NDIS schedule of fees.
For clients in New South Wales, the current rate under the Improved Daily Living support category is $222.99 per session.
Private Health Insurance
If you have psychology coverage through private health insurance, you can claim a rebate after your session. A receipt will be provided, which you may submit directly to your private health insurer for reimbursement.
Standard Session Fee
The standard fee for a 50-minute session with a registered psychologist is $195. Medicare rebates are available with a valid referral.
Mental Health Treatment Plan
With a referral from your GP under a Mental Health Treatment Plan, you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate of $97.10 per 50-minute session. This reduces the out-of-pocket cost to $97.90 per session.
The plan, developed in collaboration with your GP, outlines current mental health symptoms, relevant diagnoses, and treatment goals. Under a MHCP, clients can access up to 10 Medicare-rebated psychology sessions per calendar year.
Pregnancy Support Counselling
If you are referred by your GP under the Pregnancy Support Counselling Medicare item (81000), you may receive a rebate of $68.10 for a 30-minute session. These sessions are charged at $100 per half hour, with an out-of-pocket cost of $31.90.
This counselling service supports individuals with pregnancy-related concerns within the past 12 months including full-term pregnancy, miscarriage, or termination. Up to three Medicare-rebated sessions are available per pregnancy.
